What time does worship begin?
Our worship and zoom begins at 10:00 A.M. on Sunday mornings.
Do you stream your worship services?
In addition to our in-person worship, our services are also streamed through our Facebook page. The Sunday morning Zoom, again, is here.
What should I expect at worship?
Our worship service is a place where you are encouraged to seek how God is speaking specifically to you. Pastor David Seung-Heung Yang uses scripture and his message to connect with issues that we are facing in today’s society. To assist you in this journey, our worship will also include various music using traditional hymns and contemporary music, a celebration of the sacrament of Holy Communion, and times for prayer. Yes! Should a parent desire, there is also childcare available. We welcome individuals of all ages, especially children! The communion table is open so children may partake or receive a simple blessing. During each service, a children’s message is offered by our Lay Minister, Julia.
We encourage you to come as you are and to dress comfortably.
No. There is no pressure to give. We collect free-offerings every Sunday and we have an annual pledge drive. It’s about what’s in your heart, and the spirit of God in you. Giving money is more a gift than it is an obligation.
Santa Clara United Methodist Church is open to people from all backgrounds and religious traditions. We welcome everyone as beloved children of God.
